What Would You Say

In Leviticus the 23rd chapter along with portions of Numbers 28-29, Exodus 34:22, and portions of Deuteronomy 16, the Lord identified extensively his feast and convocations for the people to observe what God did for them (deliverance and promise) and was doing for them (provision).

This is an intriguing institution because the hearing of the Word was primarily annually but the observation of and practice of the Word was daily, weekly, and monthly. The principle of the thought is not so much of the quantity of one’s hearing God’s Word, but it is their response to it, responsibility of keeping it, and accountability of living it.

However, in the current world there is no lack of presenters of Christ and Christ crucified there is no lack of information of one’s knowledge of or ability to receive accurate and in-depth knowledge of or ability to receive accurate and in-depth knowledge to present applicable scripture. But the disconnection comes in the quality of living.

If this was the only time you could give someone the Word and it was all they had for one year or the rest of their lives would they stay faithful to God?
